 Ajahn Martin Piyadhammo (Than Martin) is a forest monk, ordained since 1995 and currently living in the Northeast of Thailand, in the Forestmonastery of Baan Taad.
In the course of events, there was a need to teach laypeople coming to the monastery. One day, one of the laypeople coming for instructions asked for the permission to record the talks. Since that time, a few of the talks have been recorded mostly in English, but also in German and for the help of a few seekers interested in training themselves to reach magga phala and nibbana, so these recordings are made public.
Then, these are samples of some those talks that were given by Ven. Martin Piyadhammo, a western monk, to laypeople who stayed in the monastery of Baan Taad for a short while.
The talks are “as is”, not cut or corrected in any way, just the way as they were given to the audience. Therefore it is not allowed to transcribe these talks into written form without prior permission.
